Alissa grew up in a small town near Mt. Rainier, Washington, where her passion for animals began at an early age. She spent much of her youth volunteering at a wolf sanctuary and helping her family rescue senior dogs through a local organization.
Alissa began her career in the veterinary field as a receptionist at an emergency and specialty hospital before advancing to a veterinary assistant role in the emergency department. Over the years, she has gained experience across multiple areas of veterinary medicine, including General Practice, Emergency, Oncology, Ophthalmology, and Urgent Care.
She now resides on a 32-acre farm with her husband and their three beloved cats — Eustace, Luke, and Georgie. In her free time, Alissa enjoys traveling to new states and continuing her lifelong passion for helping animals by volunteering with rescue groups.
